I've been really struggling with keeping up with my friends as well as I'd like to in the midst of this quarantine. It takes a lot of energy to call and text for me—much easier to just chat in person! But when that can't happen, I know my friends are still my friends and that we can always chat whenever. This track, to me, represents a feeling of hope for a brighter, more unified tomorrow. To me, it's a snapshot of the feeling of missing someone even though they are practically within arm's reach.
